yea, it hurt a lot cuz it’s the second year in a row, but the girl who won is going to do her part, and i shall do mine
but it pisses me off cuz we’re friendly with each other, i have nothing against her, but my friends hate her and they say they’re not gonna listen to her
um ok idc how much you dislike her, she is still your vice president and you need to listen to her
but their reasons for disliking her are fair
she wins everything cuz she’s a major suck up. yea, she’s smart(ish) but it’s mostly cuz she’s the biggest suck up i know
but she won this scholarship shit to SPAIN and at the IB awards, apparently she won like 50 things
and i just don’t think it’s fair that she should win this as well

i had the majority of the non-IB vote, and a lot of the IB vote (cuz a lot of them don’t like her)
so i’m thinking SOMETHING happened and it was rigged
cuz there is literally no way she could have won
srsly. i need to talk to mr. k about this because something is up, and he’s the one who counted the ballots
she made this even on fb that was like “vote for jasmine!!!!” and she invited like 126 people (not me, obviously) and i went through that list and well over half said they voted for me so i just don’t see how it could have happened
and i don’t think she cheated but who knows

throwing in my 2 cents for abortion, because of reasons
being a christian, i’m a little towards the pro-life side
but do i think abortions should be illegal? no. i think it helps in some cases
do i think doctors should have the choice to deny an abortion based on religious reasons? yes. i don’t think i would ever be able to do that
if you are having sex, i do believe you are responsible for the consequences. do not say “oh it’s not my fault that i got pregnant. i didn’t choose this. i didn’t know the egg would be fertilized.” because the sperm will almost always find the egg and that’s the whole point of condoms or whatever other birth control, to STOP you from getting pregnant
if you are not prepared to have a baby, don’t have unprotected sex
but do i think sex is strictly for baby-making? no, i’m sure it’s tons of fun and i wouldn’t want to get pregnant every time i have sex
do i think the fetus is alive and has feelings? i suppose not but no one really knows. my biggest problem is that you’re not giving it a chance. i think everyone deserves a chance to live.
i’m not saying “you never know if that child could grow up to cure cancer/some other ridiculous feat”
but everyone deserves a chance
some people might say “well putting it up for adoption is no better” and in some cases, it isn’t.
but then pull a Juno and give it to some family who can’t have one. that way you know where it’s going
if you just want an abortion because you are embarrassed or don’t want your parents to find out you’re having a bastard (strong term, but it fits), then i don’t see that as a reason to get one
i’m pro-life and pro-choice
everyone should have the choice but i think everyone should have the chance to live
but that’s just me
